Welcome to the official website of St Mabyn Parish Council
The Parish Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month (except for August and January when there is no meeting), at St Mabyn
Peace Memorial Hall, Wadebridge Road, St Mabyn at 7.30pm and members of
the public are welcome to speak and encouraged to attend these meetings. There are ten members on the council, elected and co-opted by the
parishioners of St. Mabyn, Cornwall. Elections are held every 4 years,
the next in 2021, except for the Chair and Vice-Chair who are elected
every year by members of the Parish Council.

The Chairman of St Mabyn Parish Council sends sincere condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family following the sad news of the death of HRH Duke of Edinburgh.

Current Applications:
Holiday Cottages
Please be aware that since January 2020, a Key NHS Worker, based at Treliske Hospital, has been renting a holiday cottage in St Mabyn and intends to do so until December 2020. This person has been subjected to unacceptable verbal abuse when leaving and returning to the cottage to carry out a 12 hour shift at the hospital. The Parish Council wishes it to be known that it is appalled by this behaviour.

Public Car Park for St Mabyn
St Mabyn Parish Council is working with the Diocese, the School and other partners to lease the land behind the Community Shop for a Public Car Park for the village. A meeting has been held to discuss the way forward. View Notes from this meeting.
Planning Permission for the new Car Park has been granted and work will commence shortly.
